He created and patented many communications devices, specifically in relation to an early version of the walkie-talkie[ 1 ] Citizens' Band radio[ 2 ] the telephone pager [ 2 ] and the cordless telephone. His lifelong enthusiasm for radio was sparked at age nine, when traveling on Lake Erie by a steamboat. The ship's operator let him listen in on transmissions. Later, Gross turned the basement of his house into a radio station, built from scavenged junkyard parts.

On a personal level, Scott considers himself just a regular guy who loves his family and cares for his community. His accomplishments include being an EMT first responder—having made over emergency runs… an instrument-rated pilot—with over 3, flight hours… a certified wild land firefighter—earned at age 49!&#; AND a former town councilman, including a term as mayor pro tem&#; all the while continuing to write books, blog, and speak.

But Gross admits his favorite titles are Pops, Dad, and Tiger.

Scott intends to always be current, always be relevant, and in pilot terms, live like his tail’s on fire! And, oh yeah, I should probably mention that he is in his 16th year of Parkinson’s.

Scott has Parkinson’s but Parkinson’s doesn’t contain Scott. For years people acquire told Scott that he should have been a standup comic. Lucky you it turns out that he is just as funny sitting down!

Last year he completed his third Ironman mile event and his eighth  mile bike race!

Andrew is lucky to hold an amazing wife of 31+ years who puts up or participates in their life adventures of commute , entrepreneurship, ministry, cooking and raising two extraordinary children.

He may dance like a dad but that didn’t keep Michael Hoffman and his daughter from dancing in the kitchen and then blasting all the way to viral with 13,, views and growing.

Michael is the 8th of 9 children. In a family that size you almost have to audition your way to the “big table” at Thanksgiving.

Married 35 years from the age of 19 Michael says his wife Michele is still the loudest laugher in his audience.

Michael says it simply… “She’s the best.”

When he is not speaking Michael spends his time… speaking. He and his daughter Ali help build strong families by equipping them to live out their faith through positive relationships.
