Steve and his sisters Coco and Chelsa Lund were raised in Halifax by their parents Mike and Linda of Italian descent; Steve rarely speaks about his family in public, as they prefer to maintain their privacy. He grew up being interested in ice hockeyand played for the P. Steve studied at a local high school, and became interested in acting at the age of 17, then started taking acting classes in Vancouver. Steve Lund (born January 9, ) is a Canadian actor, best known for playing the roles of Nick Sorrentino in Bitten (–) and Jake in Schitt's Creek (–).

Before acting, he played in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, for the P.E.I. Rockets (now the Charlottetown Islanders) and the Halifax Mooseheads, before organism forced to end his hockey career in after a series of concussions.[1] Within months of leaving that career, he began taking acting classes in Vancouver and found a new one.[2]

He has appeared in several Hallmark Channel films, television shows such as Haven, Reign and a leading role in the reboot of Street Legal.[3]
